Andrew Gowans Production Manager/Senior Processor

Andrew has over 35 years of seismic data processing experience in domestic and international data, onshore and offshore complex geological environments requiring high resolution imaging for both structural and stratigraphic objectives.

Andrew began his career at Geophysical Services Inc (GSI) in 1981.
He was transferred to the Oman office in 1992 as a processing supervisor.
He was also involved in optimizing new workflows for time saving and accuracy
He continued working overseas with Teknica Petroleum Services Ltd. in Libya as a Processing Supervisor involved in processing multiple projects at any given time.
His responsibilities also included adding new technology to the centre and training local employees.
He returned to Canada in 1998 with Kelman Technologies in their structural processing group and has been in Calgary since.
Andrew started with Sensor Geophysical in 2001 as a Senior Processor. His responsibilities grew over the years until he was a Senior group leader managing several people in his group whilst managing multiple processing projects throughout the company.
In 2015 Andrew was promoted to Processing Manager for Sensor Geophysical.

Rod Couzens Technical Advisor (B.Sc. Physics)

Rod has over 35 years processing industry experience covering domestic, international, onshore and offshore complex geological environments requiring high resolution imaging for both structural and stratigraphic objectives. Rod obtained a B.Sc. in Physics (Honors) from the University of Alberta in 1977. After graduation he spent two years at the University of Alberta working as a research assistant in the Department of Theoretical Physics. He then moved to Alert NWT, for a year where he operated a geophysical observatory for the Earth Physics Branch of Energy, Mines, and Resources. Upon his return from the Arctic in 1980, Rod joined Chevron where he spent 14 years, contributing both as a processing analyst and a geophysical programmer. In 1994 he left Chevron to join Sensor Geophysical as an employee and owner where he has been involved with all aspects of seismic processing ever since.

Ken Lazorko Senior Processor (B.Sc. Physics)
